## Attune's FinHealth Score® FAQ

### How do we use the FinHealth Score® in our software or product?

Through Attune. The Financial Health Network's free FinHealth Score Toolkit covers survey-based measurement for research, advocacy, and internal business purposes. Use of the Score in custom software is exclusively available through Attune, which provides FinHealth Score® scoring through its software and API.

### How does the FinHealth Score® fit into the FinHealth Workflow™?

The FinHealth Score® is the primary **Diagnosis** instrument in the [FinHealth Workflow™](https://www.finhealthrecord.com/finhealth-workflow/), the assessment that anchors the first of its four beats. It gives a point-in-time snapshot. The [FinHealth Record™](https://www.finhealthrecord.com/finhealth-record/) tracks how that snapshot changes as prescriptions, uptake, and outcomes unfold over time.

### Once we have the score, what do we compare it to?

A score without a benchmark is a number. Reading an institution's scores against the national [Financial Health Pulse®](https://finhealthnetwork.org/programs/financial-health-pulse/?ref=finhealthrecord.com) distribution is what turns the measurement into a finding an executive can act on. An internal average alone cannot say whether the institution is doing well.

### What can't the FinHealth Score® be used for?

The FinHealth Score® is a planning and guidance tool for next steps. It is not a decisioning or underwriting tool, and it can't be used to underwrite any access to credit, including earned wage access eligibility.

If you want to use the FinHealth Score® in a product, platform, or program, or measure it across your members or customers over time, [book a call with Attune](https://cal.com/andy-attune/30min?ref=finhealthrecord.com).
