The F4FW Operators Group is a peer group for the people who run financial wellness at banks and credit unions. It helps operators turn their institution's financial wellness strategy into a running program that earns buy-in, budget, and measurable outcomes. It is part of Friends for Financial Wellness. F4FW and Attune co-lead the group.
Operators: usually a VP who owns making financial wellness real inside a bank or credit union, after the strategy has been set. Friends for Financial Wellness brings together the executives who set financial wellness strategy; the Operators Group is for the people who carry it out.
What we often hear: financial wellness has landed in the strategic plan, and one person owns making it real, with nobody else at the institution doing the same job to compare notes with. Conferences cover the vision, but rarely the actual work: the hires, the tools, the internal communications it takes to get a program moving. And operators want to learn how a peer got leadership on board without walking their own playbook into a public room.
The group meets quarterly by video call. Its shared framework is the FinHealth Workflow™: Diagnosis, Prescription, Uptake, and Outcomes. Each quarter takes one part of operating a financial wellness program:
A meeting runs in four parts:
The room only works if people can talk, so the sharing rules are explicit. There are three zones:
